Maruti launched the new 2022 Baleno on February 23rd, and deliveries for the car have also started. The hatchback is in huge demand in the country, and the numbers are increasing with each passing day. The carmaker has also tried its best to attract Indian car buyers by offering a new-gen model with sophisticated technology. Recently, a Maruti Baleno was getting prepared to be delivered to its owner, but unfortunately, it met with an accident prior to that.

As per the update via Rushlane Crashlane Facebook Group, the collision took place in Guwahati, Assam before its delivery to the owner’s doorsteps, but thankfully no injury has been noted. According to the eyewitness, the all-new Baleno was parked outside the Bimal Nexa in the city, and at the time, a Tata 407 ambulance rushed into the Baleno at a high speed. The impact of the hit was so forceful that the Baleno moved forward and resulted in damage to the front facade.

This new Baleno is currently available in the Indian car market with a starting price of Rs 6.35 lakh for the base Sigma variant and goes up to Rs 9.49 lakh for the top-end Alpha automatic variant. As we have mentioned earlier as well, the brand has offered the car with a subscription scheme, which is as follows: Rs 13,999 per month needs to be paid, which includes vehicle registration, insurance, maintenance, and roadside assistance.

If we talk about the design, styling and variants offered in the hatchback, the new Maruti Baleno buyers have four options to choose from, which are Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. This new model boasts a new front grille as well as a bumper. The grille has a "NEXAWave" design with a lot of chrome that extends all the way to the LED projector headlights. Offered in six vibrant colour options, the hatch rides on 16-inch alloy wheels.
