In an official image released by Suzuki, the vehicle flaunts a striking blue and black dual-tone exterior, hinting at a blend of modern aesthetics and updated design cues. Despite being labeled the 'Swift Concept,' the discernible production-ready look suggests that the eagerly awaited next-generation Swift might make its debut sooner than expected, possibly hitting the market in 2024.

2024 Suzuki Swift powertrain

While Suzuki hasn't revealed any information on the engine or the transmission options that will be offered with the new Swift, it has said the car will feature a "high-efficiency engine that will strike a balance between driving performance and fuel efficiency".

The current-gen Swift for the Indian market features a single 1.2-litre, four-cylinder engine generating 90hp and 113Nm of torque offered with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT. The India-spec Swift is also offered with a factory-fitted CNG kit. 

2024 Suzuki Swift safety tech

On the safety front, Suzuki revealed that the 2024 Swift will feature enhanced safety tech like Dual Sensor Brake Support, collision-mitigating braking, an Adaptive High Beam System and a Driver Monitoring System. Besides this, no other information has been shared about the safety tech.

2024 Suzuki Swift launch in India
