Apart from the sunroof, there are several alterations that have been made, including the new angry birds’ grille, the modifier’s logo, and the carbon fibre finish to the body. In addition, the Thar now boasts aftermarket LED headlamps, a custom bonnet and an off-road front bumper, which comes with incorporated LED foglamps and an electric winch.

If we talk about the stock model of Mahindra Thar, the SUV is available with two engine options: a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine and a 2.0-litre turbocharged mStallion petrol engine. The mHawk130 DOHC 16-valve diesel engine is good for a maximum power of 130 BHP with a peak torque of 300 Nm. Coming to the petrol option, the mStallion150 T-GDi DOHC 16-valve petrol engine generates a maximum power of 150 BHP along with an utmost torque of 320 Nm.

The Mahindra Thar is one of the best-selling SUVs in the country, and despite the highest waiting period, people still prefer it. No doubt the automaker has manufactured the SUV with sophisticated design and styling, but in this era of cars with sunroofs, the addition of a panoramic sunroof could be the cherry on top. But this is no longer a dream for a Thar owner in Guwahati.

Recently, we got to witness one outstandingly modified Mahindra Thar in a Youtube video which was shared by the channel named "All in One Entertainment".
