The XUV700 would be a winner within the first two days of bookings, which saw 50,000 units booked, worth Rs 9,500 crore ex-showroom.

The Mahindra Thar comes in second in terms of unfulfilled bookings, with 26,000 units awaiting delivery. The Bolero, Mahindra's tough workhorse and a sales powerhouse for over two decades, is third on the list, with 15,000 units on order.

The popular XUV300, which still has 14,000 units to be delivered, has seen consistent demand since its February 14, 2019 launch and has sold a total of 1,42,264 units through the end-May 2022.

The Scorpio-N is the latest Mahindra SUV to up the ante. Mahindra will launch the XUV400 EV, a direct competitor to the popular Nexon EV, in September of this year. The company is also developing a number of 'Born electric' SUVs. On August 15, 2022, these future models will be previewed in concept form.
