Mahindra XUV3XO: A Comprehensive Preview

Mahindra is poised to re-enter the sub-four-metre SUV segment by the end of this month with the debut of the XUV 3XO. As the successor to the XUV300, this model represents the most significant update since the range was introduced in 2018.

Overview of the XUV 3XO

The new XUV 3XO sports a revised exterior with new front fascia, wheel designs, and other cosmetic upgrades while yet keeping the recognizable XUV300 profile. With a length of 3.99 meters and a wheelbase of 2.6 meters, its measurements are identical to those of the preceding model. The XUV400's interior is greatly influenced by this one, with its dual digital displays, contemporary upholstery, and reworked central console.

Market Expectations and Pricing

Despite not being a top seller like some of its competitors, the XUV300 has consistently performed well in sales, setting the stage for the XUV 3XO. With its launch, Mahindra aims to elevate the standards of the sub-four-metre SUV segment. The vehicle is expected to be priced between Rs. 9 lakh and Rs. 15 lakh, ex-showroom, positioning it competitively against rivals such as the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Maruti Fronx, Toyota Taisor, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.

With this introduction Mahindra has achieved a major step in its goal of increasing its share of the lucrative Indian SUV market by offering cutting-edge features and reliable engine options.
