Mahindra Posts Record October Auto Sales of 1,31,109 Units
Mahindra recorded 1,31,109 auto dispatches including exports and a record 73,338 domestic SUVs in October 2026.
Mahindra reported a monthly record of 1,31,109 auto dispatches in October 2026, including exports, up 9% from a year earlier. Domestic SUV dispatches also reached a record 73,338 units. The two figures cover different scopes. The headline auto total includes vehicles outside the domestic SUV count.
How domestic SUV dispatches changed
Domestic SUVs rose from 71,624 in October 2025 to 73,338 in October 2026, an increase of 1,714 units or about 2.4%. September 2026 recorded 64,092 units, so the October result was 9,246 higher month over month. Utility vehicle dispatches including exports reached 74,904.

Which figures can be compared?
Compare the domestic SUV figure with the same segment in earlier months. Use the 1,31,109 headline figure when comparing the broader auto business on the same reporting basis. Mahindra reports separate trucks and buses and tractor figures. Adding those to the headline without matching the company’s reporting perimeter would blur the comparison.
What the record tells buyers
Manufacturer dispatches measure vehicles sent into distribution, including exports where specified. Retail registrations and dealer-level deliveries measure different steps. The monthly record shows more vehicles moved through Mahindra’s auto business. Model-level stock, allocation and dealer delivery estimates are still the figures that matter when comparing waiting periods.
