Lexus LX450d is undoubtedly the flagship Lexus product for India. The official price for the car has been revealed and it came out to be the same figure that was expected in March 2017. Retailing for INR 2.32 Crore, it comes out to the most expensive product in the company lineup. The car is powered by a 4.5 liter, twin turbo V8 diesel engine producing 272 HP and 650 Nm of torque. The gearbox on use is a 6-speed automatic unit with artificial intelligence.

The setup sends power to all four wheels while the cat takes 8.6 seconds to reach 0-100 kmph. They claim a top speed of 210 kmph LX570d comes with features like 10 airbags, traction control, vehicle stability control and four camera back monitor system. It come with luxury wrapped interiors and brings wireless charging, 19 speaker Mark Levinson surround system, four zone climate control, power adjustable front seat, electro-chronic rear view mirrors and sunroof. The rivals in this segment includes Range Rover Vogue while its actual competition falls within Mercedes GLS and Audi Q7. The performance values are quite lower when compared to the top spec exotic SUVs while Lexus brand image could help this INR 2 Crore+ car sell in good numbers. Lexus may also launch the seven seat LX570 at a later stage. The ARAI claimed mileage of 9.6 kmpl is still good for its class while most parts are shared with Land Cruiser LC200.
