KTM recently unveiled the 2022 model of 390 Adventure in global markets, and two test mules of the Adventure Rally variant have been spotted testing once again. And interestingly, these test mules have been spotted in India. Also, these units seem to have plenty of changes over the current model and are aimed at being presented as off-roader bikes. The new model appears to be inspired by the Dakar Rally bikes. However, the body panels, engine casing, seat, and even alloy wheels look similar to the KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle.

From the front fascia, the bike looks like a real rally bike. The headlight assembly has been mounted higher than on the current model, and the visor is also completely different. The bike gets a TFT screen, which is also placed quite high as opposed to the existing model. Moreover, the wider and raised handlebars are designed to offer more control while riding on rough terrain.

In addition, the tyres visible in the images are also off-roading-suited ones. Furthermore, the incorporated exhaust canister is a different one and can be offered as an additional accessory after the launch. Besides, the braking and suspension are expected to be carried over from the existing KTM 390 Adventure. The bash plate is also missing from the test mule, but the brand can offer it with the production motorcycle.

In terms of powertrain, the KTM Adventure 390 is powered by a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and is capable of churning out 43 Bhp and 37 Nm. Cornering ABS, traction control, a quick-shifter, and a slipper clutch are also standard on the adventure 390. It is worth mentioning here that with the introduction of the abovementioned changes to the Rally variant, it will also get a price hike. Currently, the KTM 390 Adventure is priced at an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.30 lakhs.
