Following the recent worldwide upgrade to its famous RC lineup, KTM is currently working on an update to the 390 Adventure, which has been spotted being tested abroad. As per the information gleaned from the most recent spy images, the new 390 Adventure will be a more specialised off-road bike than the current model. This bike might be the next-generation model, with the 390 Adventure Enduro moniker.

As we found in the spy shot, the forthcoming motorcycle will be equipped with spoke wheels and a 21-inch front unit. Other significant upgrades might include new features and styling tweaks. The highly-masked bike appears to have the same frame as the 390 Adventure, with the trellis tubing and robust sub-frame appearing quite similar. The use of a newly reworked swingarm is one of the motorcycle's wholly new features displayed in the image.

This new bike, on the other hand, sports a much more functional item that appears to be of CNC fabrication. It's unclear whether this part will make it into the final bike or if it might just be used as a test piece until a cast piece is created. Another noticeable component is the main engine brace, which seems brand new and is clearly visible and dazzling in CNC-machined alloy. The prototype's off-road qualities are further enhanced by the inclusion of Continental TKC 80 hoops.

The brand may also make alterations to the bike's powerplant, though this has yet to be confirmed. In terms of its market debut, it is still in the development phases, so anticipate it being ready only by the end of 2023 or early 2024. Meanwhile, KTM is preparing to introduce its latest-generation RC 390 in India. The motorcycle will be available for purchase in the country during the next few weeks.
