Users can expect improved safety with the new Seltos, as the SUV has ADAS features. Kia claims that the Seltos SUV has the best ADAS features in its class. A surround view monitor and a rear side monitor are also included in the safety kit.

For new Seltos, two engine options are available in terms of performance. A 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission produces 198 PS at 6,000rpm and 265 Nm of peak torque at 1,600 to 4,500rpm. The second option is a 2.0-litre NA petrol engine coupled with an IVT transmission that generates 149 PS and 180 Nm of torque.

New Seltos sales have begun in the company's home market, with a starting price of 20.62 million Won (Approx. Rs 12.57 Lakh). There are two engine options available: 1.6-litre petrol turbo and 2.0-litre naturally aspirated, each with four variants: Trendy, Prestige, Signature, and Gravity.

In India, the updated Seltos will most likely retain the same set of petrol and diesel engine options as before. However, it will be more capable than new rivals Toyota HyRyder and Maruti Grand Vitara.
