Jawa has introduced the new Jawa 350, priced at Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), as a replacement for the classic Jawa in its product lineup. The Jawa 350 features a liquid-cooled, 334cc, single-cylinder engine, delivering 22.5hp at 7,000rpm and 28.1Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. Despite a 1Nm increase in torque delivered earlier in the rev band, power sees a reduction of 4.8hp compared to the previous 293cc engine.
Transmission and Clutch
Equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, the motorcycle includes a slip and assist clutch for improved ride experience and control.
Weight and Dimensions
Weighing 194kg with a fully filled 13.5-litre fuel tank, the Jawa 350 is positioned similarly to its main competitor, the Royal Enfield Classic 350. It offers a manageable seat height of 802mm and a ground clearance of 178mm.
