Hyundai Brazil recently unveiled ‘Creta Sport’ as a new variant to their already successful lineup. Creta Sport comes with gloss black exterior elements like radiator grille, skid plate and air dam grille. The same shade is seen on its rear view mirrors and roof rails. Hyundai uses a 17 inch, uniquely designed alloy wheels for Creta Sport. Shark fin antenna and rear spoiler, both in gloss black, further adds to the sporty quotient of this car. Apart from that, standard features like projector headlights, body colored door handles and minimal cladding adds to the grace of Hyundai Creta Sport. Article image Currently for Brazil only, Creta Sport comes with all black interior, wrapping each elements in pure black shade and using chrome as a highlight at minimum locations. They are using black leather and fabric combination for the seats while headliner on Creta Sport even comes in black. Infotainment is handled by a 7-inch touchscreen unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard. Buyers can feel safe with electronic stability control, traction control and hill start assist on the new Creta Sport while Hyundai is offering just dual front airbags on this new variant. Those waiting for 4x4 will still have to wait more as the 6-speed gearbox sends power to front wheels only. Article image The car runs on 2.0L flex fuel engine, producing 156 HP and 187.3 Nm on petrol. When on ethanol, it is good for 166 HP and 201 Nm of torque. Brazil will get this new variant in November, most probably starting from a price tag of R$95,000 (INR 19.64 lakh). When compared to India spec Creta, the engine on Brazil spec car is much more flexible and powerful in terms of horsepower. The most powerful Creta in India is using 1.6L, 4-cylinder diesel motor producing 126 HP and 260 Nm. This engine is offered with two gearbox options.
