Exterior Design

The facelifted European i20 N Line shows complex impactful changes in its front fascia. The grille appears slightly larger giving the car a more aggressive stance. The fog lamp housing adopts a more triangular shape, and the front bumper is smoother without the red accents present in the Indian version. On the side, the European model sports all-black 17-inch alloy wheels, compared to the 16-inch ones on the Indian variant. The side on the European i20 N Line is also sportier, enhancing its dynamic profile.

Interior and Technology

Inside, both versions share a similar cabin layout with N Line-specific elements. However, the European-spec i20 N Line boasts a 10.25-inch fully digital driver's display, similar to the one found in the facelifted Hyundai Creta, offering a more modern and immersive driving experience. The Indian-spec model, on the other hand, features a smaller semi-digital driver's display.

Safety Features

In terms of safety, the European i20 N Line takes the lead with its advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), which includes lane keep assist, park assist, adaptive journey control, blind spot monitoring, and auto emergency braking. The Indian-spec i20 N Line, while equipped with essential safety features like 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESC, lacks the comprehensive ADAS apartment found in its European counterpart.

Powertrain and Performance

Both the European and Indian versions of the i20 N Line are powered by a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine. However, the European model benefits from 48V mild-hybrid technology, enhancing its fuel efficiency and overall performance. Additionally, a variant in Europe offers increased peak torque, from 172 Nm to 200 Nm, while maintaining the same peak power of 120 PS.
