A recent report in automotive industry claims that Husqvarna will enter India in 2018. Bajaj and KTM India has jointly decided to bring Husqvarna to a diverse market like India. That will even help them produce the same at Chakan, further reducing the cost of manufacturing and bringing a low, KTM style price tag. Bajaj and KTM has completed 10 years in strategic partnership. BMW owned Husqvarna till 2013 while it still stands among the oldest operating brands around the world. Husqvarna was first operational in 1903. Partnership with KTM helped it achieve an all time high 30,000 units of sale worldwide. When manufacturing the same in India, owners could place it further down and get maximum sales in the coming years. Half of the 2017 is over and getting one more exotic brand in limited number of days will make India an even more attractive market than before. Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 will drive the maximum number of sales for this brand in most parts of the world. - closeup
