Design and Features

The Honda CB350-based ADV is expected to sport a design reminiscent of the Himalayan 450, with key features such as a raised front beak, fork gaiters, round headlamp, large windscreen, circular rear-view mirrors, knuckle guards, and an upswept exhaust. A digital render created by Pratyush Rout showcases the bike with a sharper, chiseled fuel tank profile and tank shrouds that enhance its rugged character. The bike is also likely to feature a luggage rack at the front and an extended grab rail at the rear that doubles as an integrated luggage rack.

Specs and Performance

The Honda CB350-based ADV is expected to be equipped with telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The suspension setup could be entirely new or a tweaked version of the existing units on the CB350. The bike will likely have disc brakes on both wheels, with a 310 mm front unit and a 240 mm rear unit, along with standard dual-channel ABS and possibly switchable ABS functionality.

Powering the bike will be the 348.36cc engine that produces 21 PS of max power and 29.4 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox and an assist slipper clutch for smooth control and effortless riding. The bike is expected to come with a range of accessories, including panniers and a top box.

Pricing and Launch

Honda could launch the CB350-based ADV at an attractive price of around Rs 2.40 lakh, with the launch expected by the end of this year. The bike will compete with other rivals in the segment, such as the BMW G310GS, Triumph Scrambler 400X, KTM 390 Adventure, and Yezdi Adventure.

Honda's entry into the entry-level ADV market with its 350cc ADV based on the CB350 platform is poised to shake up the competition. With its rugged design, capable hardware, and competitive pricing, the Honda 350cc ADV is set to be a strong contender for adventure enthusiasts looking for an affordable yet capable machine.
