Honda Scoopy was recently spied testing in India for the first time. The report was confirmed through these number of images available from GaadiWaadi. That same report claims Scoopy to be one of the two automatic scooter coming to India this fiscal. It seems that Scoopy was spied around the same area where Honda Grom 125 was seen yesterday, carrying all uncamouflaged body parts in identical order as its international version.  Article image The dark blue test mule here flaunts its huge round headlight with pride to the viewers. Honda has even used two extra large indicators around that round headlight. Scoopy could be a fashion threat to Fascino in more than one way. Both are based on curvy architecture and both demand a premium over standard scooter fleet including Activa, Jupiter and Maestro. Honda Scoopy comes with 12 inch tubeless tyres that are more inline with Piaggio products in terms of width. Apart from its retro appeal, modern features on offer includes mobile charger, combi braking system, anti theft alarm, semi digital console and LED projector headlights. If considered from feature point of view, it leaves everyone behind with this huge and premium list of features. Article image Honda will localize the scooter in order to achieve maximum benefits on pricing. This will include 109.19cc, single cylinder engine producing 8 BHP and 9 Nm of torque. The same unit is on offer on all other scooters in Honda lineup. Scoopy and other expected products will make it into the Indian market well before 2018 Auto Expo, helping them claim better market share in entry level products in India.
