2017 Honda CBR250R has been launched in Japan for a starting price of JYP 4,98,960 (INR 2.94 lakh, approx.). Not just that, Honda even updated the 2017 CB250F and priced it from JYP 4,64,400 (INR 2.74 lakh, approx.). While Indian fans are still waiting for the new version, Honda has been updating the models in most other markets around the world. They have received minor visual enhancements while the color scheme from 2017 CBR650F has also been given on both the models.
CBR250R now gains Black badges on both the sides while Honda logo has been moved to the lowermost panel. CB250F now uses graphic stripes under the seat and tank shroud. The street fighter version is available in Black and Millennium Red shade. 2017 CBR250R, on the other hand gains the extra Ross White shade on its faired body. Both the machines are even offered with Bronze finish engine casing and cylinder head cover on the 2017 version.

CB250F weighs just 158 kg while CBR250R gains 3 kgs over the naked motorcycle. The 249 cc, single cylinder engine is good for 29 PS at 9000 rpm and 23 Nm at 7500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Both the bikes are offered with 13 liters of fuel tank. Honda offers ABS as an option on both the bikes while Indian spec version is even offered with dual channel ABS for an extra cost of INR 30k.
