Honda recently announced that the much awaited crossover, WR-V will launch in India on March 16, 2017. Bookings for the car are now open against an amount of INR 21,000. The proud moment for Indian Honda fans is that WR-V is currently India exclusive and will be manufactured in the Indian Honda facility itself. Honda WR-V is based on premium hatchback Jazz and carries loads of additions to provide it with an exclusive identity.
Honda offers dual front airbags and ABS as standard among all variants. The car uses a different headlight and taillight design, differentiating it from most other Honda cars in the price segment. It carries diamond cut alloy wheels, push start button, cruise control and first in class sunroof option. The car is equipped with 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system that also doubles up as the screen for the rear view camera.

It's Official: Honda WR-V India Launch on March 16
WR-V is powered by the same set of petrol and diesel engine as Honda Jazz. The 1199 cc, 4-cylinder petrol motor is good for 90 PS at 6000 rpm and 110 Nm at 4800 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Diesel motor on the WR-V is 1498 cc, 4-cylinder unit producing 100 PS at 3600 rpm and 200 Nm at 1750 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.
