Hero MotoCorp is getting ready to release a new version of the Xpulse 200 in India. The new 4V variant was recently spotted during road testing and revealed some interesting updates to the bike. While Hero MotoCorp has yet to confirm a debut date for the Hero Xpulse 200 4-valve, it is anticipated that the upgraded model could be available as early as next month. However, the spied test mule could still be in the production stage and the brand has not confirmed anything about the launch date.

The four-valve feature was confirmed by the label on the fuel tank. The addition of more valves will result in an increase in power output. The current Xpulse 200 gets powered by a 199.6cc, 4-stroke, 2-valve, oil-cooled engine that generates 17.8bhp of power and 16.45Nm of peak torque. The previously mentioned change may improve its top-end performance, making it a better highway touring bike.

While looking forward to the additional changes, the spy shots also unveiled the new colour possibilities for the forthcoming bike. The spotted test mule had black and blue body panels, a colour combination not available on the bike's current model. The new Hero Xpluse 200 will also get body-coloured accents on the rims and new side panel logos. Other than that, the rest of the details are likely to remain the same in the updated model.

The current Hero XPulse model comes with a slew of exclusive features, including Smartphone connectivity, on-screen navigation, fully LED headlamps, large petal discs with ABS, an up-swept exhaust, an aluminium bash plate, and many more. Also, the ground clearance, which is 220mm, will stay the same. After the recent hike in prices by Hero Motocorp, the XPulse 200 is currently available at the starting price of 1.23 lakh Indian Rupees and after such updates, the price range is likely to hike more.
