Harley-Davidson Street 750 Registers 123% Sales Growth in India

Harley-Davidson Street 750 has registered 123% YoY sales growth in India. The popular cruiser got 158 units on the sales chart in April 2019 while one year ago, the number was just 71 units in the same month. Street 750 registered very low sales figures in February and March 2019 due to some technical problem and Harley played safe by restarting the production after solving the problem. The motorcycle is now available in multiple colours and the price gap between the plain black shade and custom option is quite high. The Street Rod posted 54 units in April 2019 and therefore, the comeback seems decently-praiseworthy for the brand. The powerful 749cc engine of Street 750 is good for 59 Nm of massive torque at 3750 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The 2215mm of length makes Street 750 a great option for commanding road presence while wheelbase of 1520mm makes the riding experience extraordinary for those who have upgraded from a regular sportbike. The rear 150/70-15 tire is a typical cruiser-type affair while the front comes with a 100/80-17 tire. The weight falls around 233 kg in stock condition. Buyers can also get themselves some exciting pack of accessories from the brand.

I am 6 feet tall, which one should I buy – Harley-Davidson Street 750 or KTM RC 390?

Both the bikes are excellent performers and define an affordable way of maintaining performance as well as the brand name. KTM RC390 is the most value for money performance bike of India as no other machine at just INR 2,14,000 would bring a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 5.7 seconds. It comes with a single cylinder 373.2 cc engine while on the other hand, no other Harley Davidson or similar capacity bike can be bought for INR 4,69,000. The 750 cc, twin cylinder motor produces 59 Nm of torque and sprints from 0-100 kmph in just 6.15 seconds. The 229 kg cruiser versus the 166 kg supersport machine is a tough decision but the only factor that can help you in choosing one is your budget and preferred riding style. I would suggest you to keep your Classic Chrome with you and then buy the RC390 as it would bring both the cruiser and supersport team to your garage.
