India-Bound 2017 Ford EcoSport Officially Unveiled
The front bumper looks mature now, carrying a silver skid plate and making the car feel more in-line with the 2017 range of Ford SUV's. The side profile remains more or less the same as the earlier version while rear section brings a no-spare wheel look for a clearer tailgate. The same may not be skipped from the Asian models due to its popularity and exemption from car's actual length. The new set of alloy wheels are actually much better than the current generation EcoSport alloy wheels. The car will be carrying the same set of diesel and petrol engines for India, the famous one out of them being the 1498 cc diesel motor producing 98.6 BHP and 205 Nm of torque. Even the 1.0 L EcoBoost petrol motor is on offer in the country, producing 123 BHP at 6000 rpm and 170 Nm at just 1400 rpm. 2017 Ford EcoSport will compete against Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Mahindra TUV300 in its segment.
