Enhanced Features: Toyota Hilux Modified with Rear Canopy

Since it became a popular lifestyle pickup truck in India, the Toyota Hilux had a significant impact on the market. Positioned as a competitor to the Isuzu V-Cross, the Hilux benefits from Toyota's strong dealer network resulting in a positive welcome from customers. In a bid to enhance its practicality, Azad 4X4 has introduced a custom convenience kit for the Hilux, catering to the needs of its owners.

Enhancing Practicality with Azad 4X4

Azad 4X4, renowned for its comprehensive modification projects on lifestyle off-road vehicles, has developed a practical and appealing modification package for the Toyota Hilux. With the help of this kit, you may increase the vehicle's off-road capability without having to make drastic changes like adding snorkels or huge tires.

One of the key features of the modified Toyota Hilux by Azad 4X4 is the inclusion of a Sammitr steel canopy, model Tl1. This canopy is equipped with sliding side windows to ensure proper ventilation and a glass hatch at the rear, which integrates seamlessly with the Hilux's stock tailgate. With color-matched panels and black glued glass that gives the impression of a floating roof, the canopy's design is visually appealing.

Interior Enhancements for Comfort

The interior of the Sammitr Tl1 steel canopy has been outfitted with an "Interior Kit" from Azad 4X4. With the addition of these bespoke cushions and backrests, the cargo area may be made into a cozy spot to spend extended travel times. Although it's unclear if passengers would feel comfortable sitting in this space while the car is moving, the kit is intended to increase comfort and convenience.

For those who choose to utilize this space, Azad 4X4 offers an AC system to ensure occupants remain cool in challenging terrains. The roof-mounted AC vents are similar to those found in Force Motors' Cruiser and Citiline models.

Cost Breakdown

The total cost of the modifications, including all components, is Rs. 3.72 lakh. The Sammitr steel canopy is the most significant expense at Rs. 2.54 lakh, followed by the luxurious "Interior Kit" from Azad 4X4 at Rs. 53K, the AC kit at Rs. 45K, and the sliding glass for the cabin at Rs. 18K.
