Ducati's flagship street bike, the Monster 1200S gets itself a 2017 model at this year's EICMA. The motorcycle now carries an even smarter fuel tank, redesigned tail light, all new headlight and even host of electronic features on itself. The motorcycle is now even more powerful, flaunting its 150 HP engine with even more proud than ever. Weighing just 211 kg, the motorcycle commands a great power to weight ratio. The 15 HP boost in its power makes it the motorcycle that has benefited the most out of the 2017 year update. It now comes with 3 riding modes (Sport, Touring and Urban) and IMU that further enables cornering ABS and Ducati Wheelie Control system. The motorcycle is also available with a stock version, priced at £11,495. 012_m-1200-s_2017_studio_g_c01_gallery_1920x1080-mediagallery_output_image_1920x1080

On the other hand, the S version for the Monster 1200 comes with 48 mm Ohlins fork and rear single shock, that are fully adjustable and very helpful in providing better high speed controls. The brakes are now in the hands of 330 mm disc brakes with Brembo M50 calipers. It comes with carbon fiber front fender, LED indicators and front DRL's. 2017 Ducati Monster 1200S comes with a price tag of £14,295 for the Red and £14,495 for the Grey models. Indian launch is absolutely sure but the time period for the arrival of new model is still in question. It will be available in the US at the start of next year, slotting it most probably into the second quarter products for the Indian market.
