Suzuki has taken the wraps off the 2024 Swift concept at the Japan Mobility Show offering a glimpse of what's in store for this popular hatchback and the new Swift showcases not only fresh design elements and enhanced features but also introduces a new hybrid engine which makes it a topic of great interest. Although it remains uncertain whether this version will make its way to the Indian market, one aspect that has been unveiled is the striking range of colors available for the Japanese specification variant. Sporty and Vibrant Choices
The 2024 Swift Concept will be available in an array of eye-catching and lively colors, including:
- Burning Red Pearl Metallic: A shade akin to the iconic "Solid Fire Red" found on the current India-spec model.
- Flame Orange Pearl Metallic: A slightly brighter hue compared to the Pearl Metallic Lucent Orange offered in India.
- Cool Yellow Metallic: One of the fresh colors introduced for the upcoming generation of the Suzuki Swift, which was also showcased at the Japan Mobility Show.
- Frontier Blue Metallic: Resembling the Pearl Metallic Midnight Blue available for the India-spec Maruti Swift.
- Super Black Pearl: This color is part of a special Black edition in the current-gen India-spec Swift.
Elegant and Neutral Tones
In addition to the vibrant hues, the selection of color options includes a range of sophisticated choices, encompassing colors such as:
- Caravan Ivory Pearl Metallic: A new addition to the next-generation Swift’s palette, presenting a refined alternative to standard options like white or silver.
- Pure White Pearl: A classic choice that complements the refreshed appearance of the next-generation Swift making it a popular option for a wide range of vehicles.
- Premium Silver Metallic: Suzuki continues to offer the premium silver color option for the updated hatchback, maintaining its place in their lineup.
- Star Silver Metallic: This option provides a brighter choice compared to the previous silver color falling between white and silver.
Dual-Tone Option
You can also opt for a dual-tone finish in red, yellow, blue, and white hues. In total, you have a choice of nine monotone and four dual-tone colors to personalize your next-gen Swift.
When the 2024 Swift makes its way to India, it is expected to come with a smaller three-cylinder petrol engine, offering an exciting blend of performance and efficiency. While the exact pricing details are yet to be confirmed, it is anticipated to command a premium over the current model's starting price of Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Swift will continue to be a strong contender in its segment competing with the likes of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, and Tata Punch, and serving as an appealing alternative to the Renault Triber and the diverse color choices and fresh updates are set to further elevate its appeal among Indian customers.
