Hyundai has recently updated its Venue lineup for 2024, introducing a new base variant for the turbocharged version and adding features to other variants. Here are the key highlights:
Introduction of the Executive Variant
Hyundai has introduced a new base variant for the Venue Turbo, called the 'Executive'. This variant, which costs Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), has a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, rear AC vents, and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Because of this, the Executive trim has a lot more features than the base model.
More Affordable Turbo Venue
While the Tata Nexon remains the most affordable turbo-petrol option in this segment, Hyundai's price revision for the Venue Turbo makes it a more attractive option. Buyers wishing to purchase a turbocharged venue with a decent balance of facilities and performance now have an inexpensive entry point with the new base model.
Upgrades for the S(O) Variant
The S(O) Turbo trim of the Venue has also received upgrades. It now comes with a sunroof and reading lamps for the driver and front passenger. The manual transmission (MT) version of the S(O) Turbo is priced at Rs. 10.75 lakh, while the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT) version is available at Rs. 11.85 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Venue's turbocharged variants, including the new Executive grade, are powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque. The Executive variant is available only with a six-speed manual gearbox, while higher trims offer the option of a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
