CFMoto Unveils Exciting New Sportbikes

Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto has tantalized the motorcycle world with a sneak peek of two highly-anticipated sports bikes during the 2023 CFMoto Day festival. In the biker community, these bikes are the subject of a lot of enthusiasm. Examining these upcoming models is our goal.

500SR - A Striking Blue Marvel

The 500SR, adorned in a striking blue livery, is equipped with a powerful four-cylinder engine. Its engine is designated "inline four" because it has four cylinders. CFMoto has disclosed a few interesting 500SR facts. With the help of an advanced ram air system, it can reach speeds of over 230 km/h. Inside the engine, the use of specially designed forged aluminum pistons and a low-inertia crankshaft ensures a smooth and efficient engine operation.

675SR - A Vibrant Red Powerhouse

In vibrant red, the 675SR stands out with its inline-triple engine configuration, signifying the presence of three cylinders in its powerplant. The 675SR is particularly noteworthy for its impressive torque output. It can produce 100 Nm of torque per liter, roughly translating to about 67 Newton meters in total. To put this into perspective, this output is not far behind other well-known bikes like the MV Agusta F3 675 and the Triumph Daytona 675. In terms of power, CFMoto estimates it to be around 100 horsepower. Interestingly, the engine design of the 675SR is an evolution of the one found in the 450SR, with an additional cylinder to increase its capacity to 675cc, much like adding an extra scoop of ice cream to enhance its taste.

Stylish Design and High-Performance Features

Although the bikes were still concealed by camouflage wraps during the preview, some key design elements stood out. Both versions have sleek, angular fairings with sharp lines and creases that give them a futuristic appearance. In addition, they include a double headlamp arrangement and two front brake discs, which enhance both appearance and functionality. With a monoshock in the back and upside-down forks in the front, the suspension system is sturdy and should provide better handling and ride quality.

Anticipated Global Launch

While the exact global launch date remains undisclosed, CFMoto has assured enthusiasts that "All these new models that debut on CFMoto Day will be launched in different markets." This commitment means motorcycle enthusiasts around the world can eagerly anticipate the release of these impressive machines. There is a high likelihood that CFMoto will unveil these bikes in their full glory at the upcoming EICMA event in November, where we can expect to receive a more comprehensive look and additional details.

Finally, CFMoto has piqued our interest with a teaser image of two of its next sportbikes, the 500SR and 675SR. These bikes could have a significant impact on the motorcycle market because they are packed with incredible features.
