Volvo XC40 R-Design Price Dropped in India: Volvo has recently dropped the price of the XC40 R-Design in India by INR 3 lakhs. Earlier, the premium SUV was available for INR 39.90 lakhs and after the recent price cut, it is now available with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 36.90 lakhs. The price tag mentioned here is pan-India. To sweeten up the deal further, the brand is also offering free accessories worth INR 1 lakh. The Volvo XC40 is now available in a single T4 R-Design variant in the Indian market.

In terms of design, the compact premium SUV flaunts excellent levels of detail on both exterior and interior components. The front features traditional Volvo grille and LED headlights, keeping up the promise of purity intact with their most affordable SUV for India.
The brand has left no objectionable points for the exterior as one gets Volvo specific vertical tail-lights, sporty spoiler, 19-inch wheels, and dual exhaust exits. Craftsmanship is further experienced through the impressively finished door handles, alloy wheels, and other interior highlights.

The Volvo XC40 R-Design is powered by a 1969cc, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine producing 187 HP of maximum power at 5000 rpm and 300 Nm of peak torque at 1300 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and the power is sent to the front wheels.
Some of the key features of the Volvo XC40 R-Design include a powered tailgate, a panoramic sunroof. a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, wireless charging, lane-keeping aid, front collision mitigation support, and an intelligent park assist system.
