The Toyota Glanza (rebadged Maruti Baleno) is offered in 5 monotone colours namely Red, White, Blue, Grey, and Silver. To make the car look more sporty, one of the authorized Toyota Dealerships in India has added a bit of modification on its own. As the customization of this hatchback has been done based on the preferences of a customer so it is possible that everyone may not find it attractive. The 'Cafe White' coloured variant has been given a dual-tone treatment and is now known as Glanza Sport. The dual-tone paint job has been done by a dealer, who has added Cherry Red shade to the roof, rear spoiler, fog lamps housing, and the Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs). Article image This modified version of the car costs INR 20,000 premium over the standard Glanza, which starts at INR 7.22 lakh (ex-showroom). To recall, the Glanza is powered by a 1.2 litre, K12B, 4-cylinder BS6 petrol engine. It is capable of delivering 83 Bhp of maximum power and 113 Nm of peak torque. There is also an option of a 1.2-litre petrol with smart hybrid technology and this variant of the car is only offered with a 5-speed manual transmission. It generates 90 HP of maximum power at 6000 rpm and 113 Nm of peak torque at 4400 rpm. Toyota Glanza is a replica of Maruti Baleno except for some cosmetic updates, improved warranty terms, competitive pricing, and the promise of Toyota’s world-class service.
