Toyota Fortuner Legender Spotted Testing in India: Toyota is all set and geared up to launch the all-new Fortuner Legender, and begin the sale in the upcoming month of the new year 2021. As per the details available, the unofficial pre-bookings have already commenced at some of the Toyota dealerships across India. The Legender variant is a sportier version of the upcoming 2021 model of Toyota Fortuner and gets updated premium features and additional cosmetic changes. Article image The front end of the Legender model has been specially designed to look more aggressive than the standard Fortuner model, and the credit goes to its sharp-looking projector headlamps with L-shaped DRLs, a sleeker front grille, yet a larger lower radiator grille at the front. The fog lamp housing is accompanied by a different design as compared to the regular version of the SUV. Article image At the rear, the Fortuner Legender features a slightly revised bumper with L-shaped vertical blades that further enhance its sporty appeal. The Legender variant also gets larger 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Inspecting closely at the Legender variant it can be seen that this variant misses a lot out on the majority of the chrome treatment on the front, as well as the back, and instead gets blacked-out elements. Article image The overall interior layout of the Legender variant is the same as the 2021 Fortuner, though it features a premium set of elements that set the two variants apart. It will come equipped with features like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with Apple car play, T-connect connected car tech, a 360-degree reverse parking camera, wireless charging pad, ambient lighting, a powered tailgate with a kick-to-open feature, nine-speaker JBL surround sound system, and a slightly updated Multi-Info Display (MID). Mechanically, the India-spec Legender model would be powered by a 204HP-500Nm 2.8-litre GD diesel engine. As per the latest details available, Toyota would be launching the Fortuner Legender in India next month and it would be getting a starting ex-showroom price tag of around INR 42-43 lakhs.
