Tata Altroz, the premium hatchback from the brand is available in India with a starting ex-showroom price tag of INR 5.29 lakhs. The production variant of the Altroz was officially unveiled at an event in Jodhpur last year. The hatchback is available to the customers in 5 trims namely: XE, XM, XT, XZ and XZ (O). All these trims are further available in five eye-catching colour options.
In addition to offering multiple variants of the hatchback, the brand is also offering customization packages with each one of them. The customization packs allow the customers to avail various additional features for their hatchback without having to pay for the top-spec variant necessarily.
Powering the Altroz is a set of BS6-compliant engines which include a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission while the brand has also revealed that the car will be getting a dual-clutch automatic transmission by the end of this year.
