Tata Altroz Price Increased: Tata Altroz, one of the most anticipated hatchbacks from the brand was officially launched in India back in January 2020. The car has recently got a price hike and the ex-showroom price range now starts from INR 5.44 lakh for the base variant while the price range goes all the way up to INR 9.49 lakh for the highest-spec variant.
The customers can avail the hatchback in 5 trims namely XE, XM, XT, XZ and XZ (O), which can be further availed in multiple colour options and feature packs, taking the total number of variants to 22. Here is a side-by-side comparison of the old prices and the new prices:

Tata Altroz can be availed in two powertrains where the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine is capable of offering maximum power of 86 HP @ 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 113 Nm @ 3300 rpm. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine is good for 90 HP of maximum power @ 4000 rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque @ 1250-3000 rpm. Both the engines have been mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
