Article image The brand is also expected to take the covers off the top-spec XZ+/XZA+ variants of the 2020 Tata Harrier at the event which will feature a host of much-appreciated features. The 2020 Tata Harrier AT will feature a panoramic sunroof in addition to getting 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Apart from this, the top-spec variant of the SUV also features a 6-way powered driver seat, auto-dimming IRVM (Interior Rearview Mirror) as well as an all-new Calypso Red colour scheme. The updated SUV will now also feature ESP (Electronic Stability Program) as standard across all the variants. Article image Powering the 2020 Tata Harrier SUV will be the BS6-compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine which is now capable of offering maximum power of 170HP as opposed to the 140HP offered by the BS4 variant. The maximum torque remains the same at 350Nm. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission while the brand will also introduce an all-new 6-speed torque converter transmission sourced from Hyundai. Tata Motors is further expected to offer the automatic variant in three trims - XMA, XZA, and XZA+. Article image One can further expect the updated SUV to get a premium of around INR 1 lakh when compared to current available top-spec XZ variant. At present, the Tata Harrier manual range starts from INR 13.43 lakh (ex-showroom), going all the way to INR 17.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2020 Tata Harrier SUV will compete in the market with the likes of MG Hector, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta as well as Jeep Compass.
