Skoda Octavia RS245 has been recently launched in India at a price tag of INR 35.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) at the Auto Expo 2020. The sedan will be brought to the country as a CBU unit while the production will limit at only 200 units for the Indian market. The Octavia RS245 is the most powerful version of the sedan to be ever rolled out by the brand. Powering the sedan is a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that is capable of offering a huge power output of 245HP and a peak torque of 370Nm. The engine comes mated to a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The Skoda Octavia RS245 is capable of accelerating 0-100kmph in just 6.6 seconds while the top speed of the sedan limits at 250kmph. Article image Coming to the exteriors, the newly revealed RS245 gets a bulkier design language when compared to the top-spec Octavia currently available in the market. The brand has equipped the sedan with a sportier front and rear bumper while the air intakes are now larger. In addition to this, the sedan features large 18-inch alloy wheels while gets a faux diffuser at the rear bumper.
