As per the sales report for the top 20 hatchbacks in January 2020, Maruti Baleno has grabbed the first position by registering a sales figure of 20,485 units. The next three positions in the list have also been bagged by Maruti Suzuki. Hyundai’s Grand i10 is ranked at the fifth position in the list with a sales figure of 8,774 units. Following it is the brand’s Elite i20 with 8,137 units on its side.
The seventh position in the list has been marked by Maruti’s S-Presso that was good for 6,971 units in January 2020. The recently launched Tata Altroz premium hatchback also posted an impressive sales figure by registering 4,505 units last month. Renault’s Kwid bagged 3,281 units and ranked at the twelfth position last month.
The thirteenth and fourteenth position in the list has been marked by Toyota Glanza and Datsun Redi-Go respectively. The Honda Jazz was able to register only 46 units for January 2020 and stood at eighteenth position whereas Nissan Micra grabbed the nineteenth position in the list with a sales figure of just 39 units.
