Rolls-Royce has recently launched the Cullinan Black Badge in India with a price tag of INR 8.20 crores (ex-showroom). As the name suggests, the super-luxury SUV is available in a Black exterior colour and Black/Mugello Red interiors. The car is quite distinctive in terms of the overall design and style. The exterior of the car is finished in high gloss black chrome which can be seen on the front grille surround, boot handle, boot trim, side frame finishers, lower air inlet finisher and the exhaust pipes.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge rides on 22-inch forged alloy wheels, which are exclusively reserved for this variant of the SUV. The brake callipers are finished in a high gloss red paint finish that looks simply beautiful. The Black Badge model of the Cullinan is available with several customization options. Be it the upholstery colour, materials of fabric used, magic roof theme or trim inlays.
Coming to the interiors, the cabin of the SUV gets Black Badge Technical Carbon veneer. The rear passenger seats get high-definition 12-inch touchscreen monitors that are positioned at the back of the front seats. The system comes equipped with a Blu-Ray player, a digital television that is assisted by 18 speakers with the next-gen of Rolls Royce bespoke audio system.
Mechanically, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge is powered by a 6750cc, V12 petrol engine that produces 600HP of maximum power @ 5,250 rpm along with a peak torque of 900Nm @ 1,700 rpm. The top speed of the SUV is electronically limited at 250 kmph while it can go from 0-100 kmph in just 4.90 seconds.
The standard equipment on this dynamic SUV includes electronically retracting Spirit of Ecstasy, Teflon coated umbrellas, electronic front and rear coach doors, 12.5GB hard drive, self-righting wheel centres, front and rear park distance control, and a 4-zone climate control system. For safety purposes, it has a collision, cross-traffic, and lane departure warning system.
