Nissan Kicks is now official for the Indian market, revealing most design details and differences that the country will get from the international version. The car comes with LED headlights with boomerang shaped daytime running lights, all-new bumper design with aluminum skid plate and honeycomb mesh front grille design. The muscular wheel arches are present on the India-specific model, similar to those seen on the other model that is on sale globally. Nissan Kicks is bigger here, presenting 4,384mm of length, 1,813mm width, and 1,656mm height. The extra 89mm of length makes it look bigger and dominating in the real world. The 17-inch machine-finished alloy wheels are great for the side profile while rear end features almost identical design to the international model. The car comes with Captur sourced chassis, leaving the V platform seen on European Kicks for the M0 frame used on all Nissan-Renault SUVs in India. Even after getting more length and height in comparison to the Captur, the wheelbase remains identical in both cars at 2673mm. The ground clearance for Kicks is expected to cross the 200mm mark. They have not shown even a single bit of interior detail for the Indian model, leaving all things as a surprise until the car gets an official launch event. The price range for Kicks is expected to fall between INR 9-15 lakh, with lesser than usual chances of getting a diesel model under the INR 10 lakh price point. The primary rival for Nissan Kicks will be Hyundai Creta but the size makes it comparable to Jeep Compass also. The car will feature the tried and tested 1.5L diesel and 1.5L petrol motor.
