Suzuki Swift Sport Bee Racing has been launched in Italy for 18,000 Euros (INR 14.36 lakh approx). The model is based on Suzuki Sport and will be available online exclusively. Pre=-bookings are open till April 18, 2018. The car comes painted in Champion Yellow and Dubai Black Metallic shade. Contrast racing stripes can be seen running all across the body from bonnet to the rear bumper. Apart from these changes, everything else remains the same as stock Swift Sport. Buyers will love to own those 17-inch dual tone alloy wheels, impressive side skirts and dual exhaust outlets. Buyers also get red stitching and lava red component inserts for better overall feel. The car is powered by a 1.4L, four cylinder Boosterjet engine producing 140 HP of power and 230 Nm of maximum torque. This makes it quite more powerful than any other Swift variant on offer worldwide. Top speed is 210 kmph while 0-100 kmph comes in just 8.1 seconds. The engine is offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Red highlights of this car perfectly syncs with the color available inside the console of Swift Sport. Article image India spec Swift is powered by two different engine options while chances of Sport variant to launch here are almost negligible. Baleno was the first car from Maruti to bring turbocharged petrol engine on offer but unfortunately, it never sold like it was expected by Maruti Suzuki. Turbocharging the engine took the overall price to a much higher point and thus, diesel sounded like better option to entire India. One can expect Maruti to launch the same 1.0L engine in India under the Swift moniker but getting 1.4L is not possible with present conditions of automotive market.
