Maruti Ertiga Tour M Launched in India: Maruti Suzuki’s Ertiga is one of the most successful cars ever made by the company. In response to the growing customer demands, the MPV got its second Gen model in November 2018. The upgraded Ertiga got noticeable exterior as well as interior changes. The second gen Ertiga has also been accepted by the customers in a positive way and the car is selling in good numbers in India. The MPV has been built on the fifth-gen lightweight Heartect platform. Its exterior updates show that the car has grown more upscale. Now, the brand has launched the Tour M version of the MPV to cater to the needs of the taxi aggregators and fleet operators. The Ertiga Tour M is available with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 7.99 lakh. Unlike the regular Ertiga, the Tour M will only be available with a 1.5-litre petrol motor which produces 105HP of maximum power at 6000 rpm along with a peak torque of 138 Nm at 4400 rpm. The Ertiga Tour M will surely be highly appealing to the people who are there in the cabs business. The Tour M is said to be fuel efficient as it provides company claimed mileage of 18.18 kmpl. It will surely attract cab operators as mileage, refinement, and reliability play a significant role in this sector. Since the debut of the latest model of the Ertiga, the car has been posting good sales numbers every month and the company hopes that this trend will likely to continue in the coming months as well.
