2019 Maruti Ertiga has been launched in India for INR 7.44 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The car comes in ten different variants starting with L as the base and Z+ as the top model for both engines. The difference between petrol and diesel engine is INR 1.40 lakh for each of the variant, with Maruti taking around INR 1 lakh for the automatic gearbox. The price of Ertiga diesel is INR 40,000 over the expectation, with every Maruti car getting the same difference of INR 1 lakh between petrol and diesel engines. The availability of SHVS on both engines is the biggest positive point, with petrol engine even claiming hatchback-like mileage figure. The car measures 4395 x 1735 x 1690 mm in length, width and height respectively. The wheelbase available here is 2740mm.
The 45-liter fuel tank offers impressive range for the diesel engine. The diesel engine used here is good for 90 HP and 200 Nm. The 1.5L, four-cylinder petrol engine seen under the hood is good for 105 HP at 6000 rpm and 138 Nm at 4400 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The top variant is only available in manual gearbox variant while automatic arrives in V and Z trim of the petrol engine.
Maruti is offering SmartPlay infotainment unit, 15-inch alloy wheels, push start button, rear parking camera and climate control system on the all-new model of Ertiga MPV. The automatic version comes with electronic stability program and hill hold control for added safety.
