As per a recent teaser image, Mahindra will be showcasing a quadricycle, the all-electric XUV300, the eKUV100 and a concept SUV at the Auto Expo 2020. According to a recent report by Autocar India, the brand will also showcase an EV concept that will be christened as ‘Funster’. The Mahindra Funster is the company’s idea of a futuristic, high-performance electric vehicle. Mechanically, the Funster EV will come powered with a 60kWh battery pack and four electric motors that will be one for each wheel. With this setup, the Funster produces 313HP of maximum power while the concept will be able to accelerate from 0-100kmph in less than 5 seconds. The Mahindra Funster will provide a glimpse of what to expect from the brand's future products. The eKUV100 will be of great interest to the Indian customers as it is expected to be showcased at the Auto Expo in its final production form ahead of its launch sometime between April-June 2020. The eKUV100 could become India's most affordable EV with prices expected to start at under INR 9 lakh. Article image Mahindra will also be showcasing the all-electric XUV300 that is likely to be named the eXUV300. In terms of styling, it will look like the standard model. However, it may get some cosmetic changes along with some new connectivity features. The SUV is expected to get its power from a 40kWh battery pack while the eXUV300 is expected to have a range of 300km on a single charge. It will rival the recently launched Tata Nexon EV. The brand will also showcase a new SUV concept that will give us a preview of the next-gen XUV500. It will be built on a new monocoque FWD (front-wheel-drive) platform that has been co-developed by Mahindra and Ford. There will be a total of 18 vehicles that Mahindra will showcase at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020. The brand has also confirmed that they will not unveil the next-gen Thar at the show.
