Mahindra Alturas G4 is now officially available from INR 26.95 lakh in India. The 4x4 variant is priced INR 3 lakh higher than the standard version, both carrying Mercedes-Benz 7-speed automatic gearbox as standard. The 2157cc, four-cylinder diesel engine on the car is good for 178.5 HP at 4000 rpm and 420 Nm at 1600-2600 rpm. The engine output is surprisingly amazing. Mahindra has not revealed the certified mileage figure for the Alturas G4, you can expect it to return around 10-12 kmpl in real-world conditions.
Alturas G4 measures 4850 x 1960 x 1845 mm in length, width and height respectively. The wheelbase measures 2865mm while ground clearance is listed as 180mm (laden) and 244mm (unladen). Both the variants are available with a 70-liter fuel carrying capacity and four ventilated disc brakes.
