Kia Seltos has been officially unveiled at an event in Delhi, clearly showing the masculine design lines and premium interior for the new midsize premium SUV. The number of features offered by the car will definitely excite the senses of technology lovers while commanding stance keeps every buyer happy with the true SUV ownership feel.
The massive wheel arches are further complemented by the dual tone premium alloy wheels. Some eyes may see the visuals of a Hyundai Creta out of the Seltos but when compared directly, the differences are praiseworthy on the newcomer. The impressive LED lights, turn indicators and fog lamps are all well-managed within the same section.
Kia is offering the SmartStream lineup of engines with the car. The 1.5L petrol and 1.5L diesel units are similar to regular engines while 1.4L petrol turbo motor will keep the performance lovers happy in India. The brand is offering 6-speed manual gearbox on all the variants while petrol automatic will use a CVT. On the other hand, the diesel automatic will be a 6-speed unit while turbo petrol will feature a 7-speed DCT gearbox for better performance. The car features a rotary knob with terrain selection function and riding modes like Normal, Eco, and Sport.

Coming to the interior, Kia Seltos comes with a huge 10.25-inch infotainment display, black-beige leather finish and plenty of space. The four-wheel disc brakes, 360-degree camera, and other safety features improve its overall presence. The top-spec variant will feature 8-speaker Bose sound system, automatic headlights, and rain sensing wipers.
The car is available in Intense Red, Punchy Orange, Clear White, Glacier White Pearl, Steel Silver, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, and Intelligence Blue shade. The car comes with UVO connected car interface that offers Venue-like features for the driver. The Kia Seltos price range is expected to start from INR 11 lakh for the petrol variant and INR 12 lakh for the diesel variant. The all-new premium SUV is expected to go on sale in India in August this year.
