According to recent reports, Shah Rukh Khan is the first-ever owner of the 2020 Hyundai Creta that has been recently launched in the Indian market. The brand has officially witnessed more than 14,000 bookings of the updated SUV in India that is now equipped with a BS6-compliant engine and is available across the country at a starting price tag of INR 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The superstar Shah Rukh Khan has received the Hyundai Creta turbo petrol DCT trim that is the highest-spec variant of the midsize SUV. The keys of the all-new SUV variant was handed to King Khan by Tarun Garg, Director of Sales, Hyundai India. Article image The dealerships are currently accepting orders for the 2020 Hyundai Creta at a token amount of INR 25,000. The customers can further avail the SUV in 5 trims namely E, EX, S, SX & SX(O) which can be further availed in 14 variants. The brand has equipped the updated compact SUV with a redesigned cascading grille at the front that has been finished in chrome. In addition to this, the LED headlight and taillight setup have also been revised a bit. The 2020 Hyundai Creta further features a panoramic sunroof while the 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels are also new for the updated variant. Article image Inside the cabin, the SUV has been equipped with Hyundai Blue Link connected car technology that offers more than 50 additional functionalities. The SUV can be further availed by the customers in 10 exteriors single colour variants namely Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Lava Orange, Titan Grey, Galaxy Blue, Red Mulberry, and Deep Forest while the dual-tone shades include Polar White with Phantom Black and Lava Orange with Phantom Black. Mechanically, the 2020 Hyundai Creta is available with three powertrains borrowed from Kia Seltos which includes a 1.5-litre MPi petrol, 1.4-litre T-GDi Turbo petrol and 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine. The recently launched Hyundai Creta currently competes in the market with the likes of Kia Seltos, MG Hector and the Tata Harrier.
