2020 Honda City RS Turbo by JTC Titanium: 2020 Honda City is one of the most anticipated sedans in the Indian markets whose official arrival has been indefinitely delayed by the coronavirus lockdown. As the brand is expected to offer only the standard variant of the sedan in the Indian markets, the launch of the sporty RS variant seems to be far-stretched.
The 2020 Honda City RS in the international markets has been recently customized by JTC Titanium with a dark black theme which is worthy of all the attention. The sporty sedan variant has been offered a new body kit as well as a host of other premium features. The customizers have offered the sedan with all-new wheels shod on wider tyres. In addition to this, the boot spoiler on the sedan has been adorned with carbon fibre detailing while the overall outlook makes it resemble the much premium BMW 3 series.
The lower stance of the 2020 Honda City RS compliments its all-black colour profile while the remaining of the standard features on the sedan has been kept the same. Coming to the interior of the modified sedan, the customizers have offered the sporty RS variant with tan-brown Recaro Sport bucket seats at the front to add on to the sporty character of the car.
Apart from installing an aftermarket Turbo RS exhaust system, JTC Titanium has not made any major changes to the engine of the car. Powering the RS model of the sedan is a 998cc, VTEC, turbocharged, 3-cylinder petrol engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 122HP and a peak torque of 173Nm. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox as standard for the RS variant of the sedan.
The customers can avail the 2020 Honda City RS in the Thai markets at a price tag of 7,39,000 Thai Baht (INR 17.15 lakh approximately). The India-spec 2020 Honda City is expected to get BS6-compliant 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard while the customers will be also able to get their hands on the CVT gearbox as an option.
