Ford EcoSport Thunder edition was recently spotted in a new set of photos. The car adds a more muscular character to the EcoSport lineup as buyers will get a dual-tone bonnet finish, all-black alloy wheels that measure 17-inch, black front grille and black roof with dark-painted roof rails. The side mirrors are finished in black while the car now comes with faux side protectors above the cladding. The headlight is smoked while the area surrounding the fog lamp section is also left black. The car features gloss black tire cover and Thunder branding on the tailgate. The sporty character is further enhanced with the rear sporty spoiler. The pedals are sporty while vents are not available with chrome lining as regular models. The door pads are also finished in the brown shade on the Thunder Edition. The car will be available in four variants, with 1.5L petrol getting 5-speed MT and 6-speed AT gearbox while other two (1.0L petrol and 1.5L diesel) engines will get the standard gearbox options like the regular models. The most powerful option is the 1.0L EcoBoost engine with 125 HP. Article image Ford EcoSport comes with a lot of variants, starting right from INR 7,83,300 for the Ambiente petrol and INR 8,42,800 for the Ambiente diesel variant. The top model for the EcoSport costs INR 11,90,400 for the S diesel variant. The 17-inch alloy wheels and other important additions to the EcoSport Thunder Edition will make it a better rival against the recently launched Hyundai Venue. The availability for the special edition will start from June 2019 while colour options may get restricted to white for the premium feel.
