The brand justifies the decrease in prices of the SUV as an outcome of the increased level of localization. Certain reports also suggest that the brand has dropped the prices of the EcoSport for competing in the market with the likes of the newly launched Hyundai Venue. Though the initiative might help increase the sale, the long term effects are still unknown. The all-new EcoSport Thunder SUV can be availed with 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 123HP and 100HP respectively.
