This helped them claim a market share of 49.9%, clearly explaining that 499 cars out of 1000 were sold from Maruti dealerships only. Hyundai, on the other hand, scored 45,371 units to achieve a 16.9% market share and second overall spot.Article image The launch of 2018 Creta has further helped them claim strong numbers. Tata Motors stood third with 18,213 units while Honda regained the fourth position with 17,602 units. The former had 6.8% market share whereas Honda was good for 6.6%. Mahindra came fifth with 15,942 units in June 2018, claiming 5.9% market share in the same month. Toyota registered 13,088 units, most of which come from Innova Crysta, Yaris, and Fortuner.
