Top 10 best-selling cars of 2018 have a different story this month. The ranks have interchanged, with most products gaining and losing number between each other and retaining their positions among top products of the country. Maruti Swift is the highest selling car with 22,228 units in September 2018 leaving behind both Alto (21,719 units) and Dzire (21,296 units) for the first time since its upgrade.
The fourth position on this list goes to Baleno with 18,631 units and Vitara Brezza bagged the fifth position with 14,425 units. Maruti Wagon R gets the sixth overall position with 13,252 units. It seems like the buyers have shifted from Wagon R to Swift in September 2018. Hyundai makes an entry here, getting next three positions with the best selling products of their lineup.

Hyundai i20 got 12,380 buyers while Grand i10 and Creta scored 11,224 units and 11,000 units respectively. Maruti Celerio was left out of this list from last few months, making another superstar entry with 9,208 units for the tenth position in September 2018. The list completely belongs to Maruti and Hyundai, with no other brand getting a chance and 7:3 ratio for India’s most selling manufacturers.
The launch of limited edition variant for Maruti Swift seems a working idea while Dzire still holds the record of most units sold in one month in India. The popular compact sedan once crossed the 30,000 unit mark.
