KTM officially unveiled the X-Bow GTX sports car last year and it is one of the most recent cars from its KTM Sportcar GmbH division, the only car manufacturer in Austria. Commenting on the KTM X-Bow GTX, Hubert Trunkenpolz, a KTM board member said, "We transfer KTM’s essential brand elements – extreme, performance and purity – together with KTM’s core areas of expertise, which include state-of-the-art motorsports technology, extremely lightweight construction and the highest quality components, in a racing car that clearly reflects the signs of the times. In motorsport, it is necessary to focus development on a superior power-to-weight ratio to be even faster with economical, more efficient small volume engines. The knowledge acquired from this process must then also be incorporated into the series development.”

With an overall sharper design language and proportionately aesthetic designing elements, the sports car looks extraordinary at just a single glance. Coming to the braking system, the brake callipers on the KTM X-Bow GTX have been designed for long-distance racing. A 6-piston endurance brake system with 378mm disc diameter grips at the front, along with a 4-piston brake system with a 355mm disc diameter at the rear.

Coming to the safety features, both traction control and racing ABS can be adjusted manually. The eight-way traction control ensures optimal acceleration out of corners and provides more safety on wet tracks. The type 3 racing ABS from Continental can be adjusted in ten steps according to the track conditions as well as to influence the vehicle balance towards understeer or oversteer, depending on the driver's wishes when turning into corners. Both selector levers are located directly on the steering wheel and can be operated intuitively there.
