According to a report by CarExpert, the German automaker intends to continue offering its V8 and inline-six engines, despite the increasing pressure of stringent emission regulations.
While BMW M is currently working on electric high-performance cars, the release of such vehicles is not expected in the near future. Frank van Meel, the head of BMW M, confirmed that the division has no plans to introduce three and four-cylinder engine-powered cars alongside their upcoming electric models.
